In general, we recommend a TPD NEO because of its narrow module design, optimal patient hygiene and the locking nut principle (eliminating the need for an additional screw to lock the TPD module).
A TPD All-in-One can be used if you prefer to use the “locking screw” mechanism instead of the “locking nut”.
A TPD Classic can be useful for very large distractions. The module can be changed during treatment without removing the abutment plates. More information on all our transpalatal distractors can be found here.
OBA ST consists of a simple hook system. OBAs can be used for most cases and have different sizes depending on the patient’s anatomy. The designs depend on where the OBA is to be placed.
OBA MM can be used on the left or right side of the patient and in the upper or lower jaw. All OBA MM are SLA treated to roughen the surface for optimal biocompatibility.
The 3 different models are available with attached tubes and brackets for specific cases.
